Encourage your children to learn more about the monarchy during royal wedding week with the help of FILMCLUB.
The charity will be giving youngsters the opportunity to watch, discuss and review a 10-strong array of thought-provoking movies with a monarchical theme. These include Cromwell, The Madness of King George, The Queen, The Sword in the Stone, and Young Victoria (pictured), all of which come with a comprehensive synopsis to enable teachers to get the most out of them in class.
The ‘Royal History’ season is part of a broader ‘Power of film to educate’ campaign, which aims to highlight the capacity of film to educate people about a host of topics. The films will be available to members via website filmclub.org at the end of April – head there now to view the full line-up, which includes a range of options for the primary age group.
