It teaches children where different fruits and vegetables grow, as well as encouraging them to eat more of these foods as part of a healthy diet. Children can also explore the map to discover the names of countries and where they are located geographically, as well as learning which countries have cool, warm or hot climates.

The Great Grub Club is a free website for 4-11 year olds produced by the charity World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK). It teaches children about healthy eating and physical activity in a fun and informative way. With the help of Professor Foodsmart, Snack the dog and the Great Grub kids, the Great Grub Club strives to show children that ‘being healthy is fun!’

The website also offers information for parents and free resources for KS1 and KS2 teachers in line with the National Curriculum which support teaching and learning about healthy lifestyles.
